Back in 1999 when I first started my
Christian walk, I decided to build a web
site dedicated to miracles (RequestAMiracle.com).
After all, I certainlywas
seeking one.
I realized that even though many people
choose to deny the fact that God still
performs miracles for those who believe
and even some who do not, God wasn't
going to let the unbelief of so many
stop Him from being the same today as he
was 3000 years ago. Human doubt wasn't
going to prevent our Father from being
GOD!
Nothing is harder to believe than the
impossible; we assume that because we
find ourselves in situations we can't
fix, God must not be able to fix them
either. WRONG! In many cases we given
up on our dreams or our goals simply
because we couldn't see past our human
ability or INability. That is
the surest way to miss out on the
incredible things the Lord can and STILL
DOES do in our lives!
When our prayer need lines up with God's
Word, it is a sure thing that He is
going to answer. That answer is not only
going to be incredible, it is going to
be perfect. The enemy has clouded our
hopes with doubt and the inability to
EXPECT the power of God to override all
else! He's also found a way to make us
fear God's will!
Say what?
You know what I mean. Maybe you are in
love with a man who you think is the one
for you.
But you are afraid that if you totally
release the WHOLE thing to The Lord, he
might think that man ISN'T the one for
you! Been there, DONE THAT! In that
case, you're limiting God's power in
your life! God is not limiting what he
does for us; WE are limiting what we
believe He can do (or WANT Him to do).
In doing so, we give up and walk away
before the season for the answer
arrives. Or worse yet, we take it back
into our own hands and make it an
unfixable situation.
Are you entering into this New Year with
a spirit of doubt? Maybe the absence of
the person who broke your heart is
causing you to feel like you'll never
reach the goal and find happiness again.
I've even talked to some people who feel
like the more they pray, the further
away God seems to go. So now you find
yourself starting a New Year carrying
old baggage that didn't progress you one
spiritual step last year. If those are
your expectations,they
are likely to come true.
HOWEVER! Are you ready to REALLY step
into a life of blessings and miracles?
Are you ready to feel joy popping from
your heart every minute of the day -
with or without the person who hurt you?
Are you ready to live with a bounce in
your step and a purpose in your heart
and a feeling of expectation bubbling
from within each and every morning? I
thought so!
The tag line for RequestAMiracle has
always been "The Atmosphere of
Expectancy is the Breeding Ground for
Miracles!" That sentence had such a
profound impact on my early walk and it
can have one on yours too if you let it.
Here is the key:
You have to force those negative
thoughts out of your head and BELIEVE
that now that you have asked God into
your situation,
the end
result is going to be PERFECT! That's
HIS promise! In Roman's 8:28 The Lord
promised to make all situations work for
good for those who love Him! You love
Him right? Then start believing that HE
WON'T FAIL YOU! Stop looking at your
circumstances with your fleshy eyes and
start looking at them with eyes of
faith! The Lord's word is filled with
promises of WONDERFUL things to come and
it also comes complete with the
instructions on how to achieve these
goals! Guess what,
guys? IT WORKS! I have put it to the
test SO many times and it really works!
This guaranteed change of life only
works if you want it to and you have to
WORK HARD to eradicate the bad habits
and useless luggage that is causing you
to walk around with no hope! ONLY YOU
can release these things and give them
to the Lord. Only you can stand up and
REFUSE to let the doubt overcome you.
You don't have to do it alone. The Lord
is always there for you, always waiting
for you to fall into His arms so He can
renew your spirit and your strength.

Since June of 1999 my life has never
been the same. Oh, I have had some rough
times but I have traveled through those
rough waters clinging to the divine
robes of my Heavenly Father.
I have let go of prayers that I knew
were no good and MADE MYSELF trust God
for the best
answer. It wasn't easy, but when
the answers came, they were
MAGNIFICENT!! Obtaining this incredible
way of life is so very very easy but the
devil makes it look hard by filling you
with fear and doubt and despair. I have
been there and I KNOW those tricks and
then I decided to just take the plunge
and give it all to God even if it meant
I was losing everything. The only thing
I lost was the things that were keeping
me from allowing Him into my heart 100
percent. Life is truly blessed
and I love living every minute of it to
the fullest!
